Welcome...
I have lived in Brevard since 1990, when I moved here from Florida's East Coast. Brevard's natural beauty, small-town setting, pleasant year-round climate, award winning public schools, and lively arts scene were the magnets that pulled us here from Florida.
I was born and raised in Wadsworth, Ohio, the quintessential Midwestern small town. They were warm and friendly people, we had lively main street locally-owned shops, safe streets and neighborhoods and a strong sense of community. From Ohio, I attended College in St. Petersburg, Florida, and in southern California. I lived in the mountains of Southern California, about a one-hour drive from Los Angeles, while I worked as an instructor with Los Angeles County schools and Mount San Antonio College, one of California's largest community colleges.
I also lived in Florida, but found Brevard the perfect match for us. Brevard is just a three hour drive from Atlanta or Charlotte. Asheville, Western North Carolina's largest city and home to numerous attractions - including the famous Biltmore Estate, is just 45 minutes away. I've experienced life in the Midwest, southern California and coastal Florida. I chose to make a home for my family in Brevard because it offers just the right mix of nature and city, beautiful golf courses, a dynamic art scene, and small town living and community spirit. Please e-mail me if that's the quality of life you're looking for too. You may just find it in Brevard. gamills@citcom.net
